Anxiety Disorder

Psychotherapists and psychiatrists have come to understand the crippling effects caused by hysteria disorder. It's a disorder that has an effect on body, mind, emotions, and spirit. An individual may appear competent and capable, all the while hiding his / her very own inner hell through excessive activity, achievements, or never-ending gossip.

Other times, it is more perceivable and seriously damages relationships with other people and ourselves. To the person with the anxiety disorder, it may have been there for so many years that it feels normal.

For an addict, it may be what drove them into their addiction or it is what haunts them after they are sober.

Generalized stress Disorder : Is the constant, exaggerated, worrisome thoughts and tension about everyday routine life events and activities. Usually predicting the worst though there's little reason to expect it. For most the raised tension of Generalized Anxiety Disorder is accompanied by physical symptoms such as fatigue, trembling, muscle strain, bad temper, ill-tempered bowel syndrome, or frequent and severe headaches regularly leading to attempts of suicide.

Unnecessary uneasiness and worry : Described as dreadful thoughts about the future or inappropriate guilt about some past event, the mind can't stay in present time. It foresees worst case scenarios which are horrifying to the mind, body, feelings, and spirit. To defend itself against these dreadful possible outcomes, the mind then begins producing plans and projections. Each expected plan and back up plan prompts the next feared events and obligatory plans. Before long, the mind is producing a pyramid of fear. These thoughts are always negative and gloomy. The individual feels overwhelmed and defenseless.

Hard to control the worry : The thoughts and troubles only increase when we try to control them. A dangerous cycle ensues, where the first stress and worries are made worse by anxiety and stress about not being able to stop it. There's little worse than not being able to sleep and staring at the clock, hours, burned out by the racing mind, anxious about the lack of sleep, trying vigorously to go back to sleep and quiet the mind.

Anxiousness and worry are accompanied by 3 or more of the following six symptoms :

  • muscle stress
  • restlessness or feeling keyed up or on edge
  • irritability
  • being easily exhausted
  • difficulty concentrating or mind going blank
